High Chief Epsilon Faber-Castell IV

The current ruler of Bastet, born in 2951 YA. Together with his wife, Lady Chiana Faber-Castell, he has raised several children, including the Chief-Heir Roit Faber-Castell, and the Princess Zana Faber-Castell. Since rising to the throne in 2976 YA he has led Bastet through the Second Apollyon War and the ending of the Tanor-Bastet Grand Alliance, seeking new alliances with Stoci, Mazda and Theon. The surname "Faber-Castell" hints at Tanorian heritage.

Enyan

The human name for the Faerie City , sited high above the Celestial Ocean. Using large Relics to lift their buildings amongst the clouds, the Faeries have slowly distanced themselves from humanity, although they still mediate with Atlantis and Theon.

Escher

Country

Population: 546,478 (Est. 2951 YA)

One of the last countries to be founded, in 652 YA, the country is physically weak compared to the other Barbarian countries, but has been protected by being surrounded by Mazda on the south and east borders. Since 1349 YA, the country has had a Grand Alliance with Mazda, yet its border have shrunk as Mazda slowly gains a mile every decade. This has not gone unnoticed by the Escher lords, yet they know that if they break the Alliance, Mazda will be able to claim all of their lands with little resistance. Currently, Warnheim, Lingen and Serwald border Mazda, whilst Kasberg, the country capital, lies at the center. Rulich lies on the western coast, and Manberg lies on the Ter’Ciel border.

Esmeralda Vapce

An actress on the Mummer’s street stage, probably most famous for her roles as Julia in the Merchant’s Folly and Falion in The Fall of Goren, as well as other Botholio tragedies. It is thought that the name is actually a stage name, although her true name - and age, for that matter - are unknown.
