When Melaine Deigo first arrived in the city of Atlantis, she found it hard to fit into yet another new school. She and her mother and moved from one Cielian city to another, before going all the way to Atlantis. As a result, she was always afraid of moving on again as she and her mother had done before. Yet she made friends, but was always curious of those who had very few. They were always honest with themselves, something she never was. When she and Shihan met, she saw him as one of those people, and found herself able to open up to him unlike any other of her friends. The two started dating soon after, despite the surprise of her fellow classmates.
For once in her life, she was able to forget any worries and coild just be herself with him. She inspired a confidence in him, and encouraged to take up Warrior Studies. She herself didn’t go up to university, instead continuing in her part-time job at the Franan Wool manufactories. Between shifts, she visits Shihan and his friends at Atlantis University, and cares for her mother as well.
