Rossek

Rossek, Tanor

County

The first county to be formed by the Nori settlers, part of the Myrian Group who crossed the Myrian Ocean in 1276 YA. Formed mostly of the peasant and farming community, the settlers spread outwards from their landing point in the South -East, until they met the rest of the settlers in the North and West of the country. The Consolidation of 1321-41 created the three counties, with the country capital of Tanor City at the center of the three county borders, meeting at the Royal Hills. In the North, where Rossek meets Teshire, lies Irontop from whence the river Ross flows. Down to Rosford, it splits in the tributaries that go south into Rossek and into the arm of Cerel, ending at Cerport. The river Aldon flows from the Royal hills, ending in Aldmouth, which lies at the end of the trade road from Sheldon, through Cheston to here.

Rossek monarchs dominated in the first four centuries, bringing with their dark influence (see Apollyon). After the end of the First Apollyon War, there was no Rossek monarch until after the Second Apollyon War, when the royal blood was so devastated that Lord Raldor Rossek, hero of the war, was declared next in line by the Damner’s Court.
