Stoci
Country
Population: 370,000 (Est. 2955 YA, excluding Nori which joined in 2990 YA).
The youngest of the Barbarian countries, formed in 2205 YA after a brief civil war in Theon. The county had become isolated from the rest of Theon, as it became stretched over too wide an area. Whilst the fourth Grand Prophet reorganized Theon, the United Alliance shut the borders of the county, and declared itself an independent state. It would surely have been captured if not for the peace talks organized by the Grand Prophet Tilus, which allowed Theoni families the freedom to leave. The country covered the newly captured lands of Nori, building Thessa as it’s capital in the east. It then went west through to the Theoni cities of Smoli, Dhinos, Thinos, Mespos and Anlion. Nori was captured by Stoci in 2990 YA after it fell into anarchy.
Government
The United Alliance still forms the main government, with the six lords meeting several times a year to decide nationwide problems. Mostly, the various lords of the smaller towns rule quietly, their linage dating back to before Stoci was created.
