Tekas
Country
Population: 390,000 (Est. 2955 YA)
A large country in the North-east of Barbaria, which borders on several countries. Its cities do a booming trade with Ter’Ciel, Mazda, Palmeria and Theon, with alliances dating back thousand of years. Founded in 549 YA, the country grew from the large town of Springville out to the Celestial Ocean, whilst meeting the established Palmeria and the newly born Mazda. Havosa was established on the northern peninsula, whilst Humbold grew from new trade with Palmeria. Camben grew near new Mazda to protect the fluctuating border that the countries fought over from 560 until the Expansion in the 9th Century, as various groups left Barbaria to form what would become Ter’Ciel. During this time Andreas was founded, trading with the Nomad Lands and the small settlements of Ter’Ciel that would become Lagiri, Nyalam and Lahor. Since then, Tekas has been content to keep its borders, with only a few scuffles as Theon marched North.
