Lagiri,

Lagiri, Ter’Ciel

Population: 95,245 (Est. 2955 YA)

Located on the Nomadic Arc, Lagiri enjoys good trade with the Nomads Land, and is also trading with Havosa in Tekas. Most of the silk that the city gets from the Nomads Land is made into garments in the city, whilst the other bolts are traded across Neon.

Lahor,

Lahor, Ter’Ciel

Population: 83,345 (Est. 2955 YA)

One of the eastern-most cities in the Barbarian Arc of Ter’Ciel, Lahor has strong links with Andreas and most of the Tekan trade flows through Lahor. One of the first cities to be established during the Dispersal, in which several populations left as the new Barbarian countries expanded and clashed on their new borders.

Land-Lord,

After the Fire of 1429 YA in Atlantis, around a hundred towers were constructed to house the ever-increasing population by the Faeries and ironsmiths from Ter’Ciel and Theon. These grand structures, which matched the Tower of Hope for height, are considered by many to be the greatest construction in Neon. Yet most of them are still used as simple accommodation by the myriad of families living within Atlantis, and they are all owned by the Land-Lords of the city. Most Land-Lords simply own one, and are descendents of a large family within the tower that represent that community. The cause of the civil war, however, was due in part to Land-Lords controlling several Towers at a time, showing little concern for their inhabitants at the same time. Currently, this practice has been abolished, yet this has swelled the Lord’s Tower to its largest holding since its founding. Inevitably, this practice will have to return and be properly regulated.

Lére,

Lére, Bastet

Population: 96,340 (Est. 2981 YA)

The link between Nare and the north, Lére is little more than a well-established crossroads between all the other cities. It does, however, have several large manufactories buried within its caverns, producing much of the garments that cover Bastet.

Lingen,

Lingen, Escher

Population: 59,239 (Est. 2955 YA)

This city currently trembles as Mazda advances ever nearer as it absorbs what Escher has not claimed for years. The city has shrunk too, as its people choose to go back to the fields that lie inland instead of wait within the palisades.

Link,

A link is the term for an immaterial flow between the physical and spiritual, creating or enhancing a person’s spiritual awareness or magical ability. It can vary from the weak to the very strong, such as the Hope Link (which also explains how a link works). A spiritual conduit, or Link, allows an object or a spiritually aware being to influence a greater area of the physical realm using its imprint on the spiritual realm. (More...)

Lotchan,

Lotchan, Ter’Ciel

Population: 76,245 (Est. 2955 YA)

One of the last Cielian cities to be established, in 1127. The city joined Ter’Ciel after it expanded when the Nori exodus, and is surrounded by several settlements which enjoy very close links with Tanor. Currently, there is very little actual trade between Lotchan and Tanor, as the hills that cover most of Ter’Ciel hinder easy access.
