Tanor,

Country

Population: 2,050,000 (Est. 2981 YA)

Tanor. The cradle of humanity. The richest country next to Theon, the promised land of legend for a thousand years. But just as it the basis for legends of light, where Angels first walked, so it is also the focus of man’s darkest desires, where Apollyon does it’s greatest dealings. As the country enters the fourth millennium, it hopes to eradicate its dark past, yet it is a small hope that faces an entire history of mankind to overcome. (More...)

Tanor City,

Capital City

Population: 250,000 (Est. 2981 YA)

Built upon several plains within the Coramod mountains, Tanor lies at the center of all three county borders, a mighty testament to Tanor’s strength. The various different sections of the city are scattered across the former site of the forest that was first found here, and just as Tanor is really three countries in one, so Tanor is three cities in one. The hills contort the streets, so that the city is chopped three major, wildly different sections - the richer south with the merchant houses and Golden Palace, the poorer eastern manufactories and the criss-crossing hilly streets in the north. Several smaller shanty towns lie scattered around the city, their inhabitants working in the eastern factories.

Tekas,

Country

Population: 390,000 (Est. 2955 YA)

A large country in the North-east of Barbaria, which borders on several countries. Its cities do a booming trade with Ter’Ciel, Mazda, Palmeria and Theon, with alliances dating back thousand of years. (More...)

Ter'Ciel,

Country

Population: 1,200,000 (Est. 2955 YA)

In the days before the War of Mages, the people of Fren would often journey to the mountain ranges that populated the frozen north. They named them "Sas’Terr’ta’Ciel", or "Hills of Earth that meet the Sky". These legends persisted after the war, and so when the peoples of Barbaria needed somewhere new to live, they traveled to these fabled lands. Across the plains, the twelve cities were established, with Kestra, their new capital, sited atop the mighty Ter’Ciel or "Earth meets Sky". Since 932 YA, the twelve cities have flourished as Ter’Ciel, so that although each one is independent, they can trust in each other for trade and support. (More...)

Teschest,

County Capital

Population: 88,451 (Est. 2981 YA)

The largest city in Teshire, it was established upon a large hill at the fringes of the Bulwark Hills, which cover the Teshiran coast. It has a booming merchant trade with the various smaller settlements in north Teshire and the coastal towns of north Rossek further south. The famous Bast forest lies to the north of the city.

Teshire,

County

Population: 520,000 (Est. in 2981 YA)

Covering the north-east of Tanor, Teshire was founded by the Cielian group, a large band of settlers who traveled across the mountain range after their farming lands were swallowed whole. When they settled in the new rich country, new lords established themselves, knowing how to lead but not how to rule. They knew how react to what they knew, but not how to react to the unknown. What the Bast Forest revealed when the settlers had become Lords of Tanor would carry the country into the future. What it revealed, would shine the light upon the darkness that they brought with them, within themselves. (More...)

Tewsbury,

Tewsbury, Durian

Population: 57,763 (Est. 2981 YA)

The southern-most city in Durian since Sheldon was re-captured, Tewsbury is the main base for merchants seeking business across the border, whether it be legal or more shady. The city was built upon the ruins of an older city dating back to before the War of Mages, with several walls of the inner city using the millennia-old stone as foundations.

Theon,

Country

Population: 750,000 (Est. 2955 YA)

The oldest country in Neon, established by the human survivors of the War of Mages who had been guided by Anahita. The country covers nearly half of the continent of Barbaria, from Alethion in the far south to Goren in the north. Over the years, the Anahitan religion has been the foundations of this nation, and its prophets have shaped not only Theon, but the history of Barbaria and Neon too. (More...)

Thessa,

Thessa, Stoci

Country Capital

Population: 84,778 (Est. 2955 YA)

One of the newer cities in Barbaria, built in 2234 YA after Stoci separated itself from Theon. The city became the main home of commerce in the region, located at the center on the country. The House of Seers is the main base of government, where the descendents of the United Alliance meet. The city is famous for the various clockmakers who create custom made timekeepers for customers across Neon.

Thinos,

Thinos, Stoci

Population: 69,259 (Est. 2955 YA)

A large city built upon a peninsula in 1372 YA, as Theon expanded into the empty lands west of Nori. When Stoci split from Theon, the city became a major harbour when trade resumed, establishing links with Atlantis and Carrio.

Tirosa,

Tirosa, Mazda

Country Capital

Population: 49,561 (Est. 2955 YA)

A newly built city established in 2772 YA, it grew up around the summer palace of the Mazdan Chieftain. It became the new administrative center after a small rebellion in 2734 YA which destroyed the Hall of Lights in Kreuo. The building of the city has further increased rumours of a Mazdan desire to conquer Escher, yet very little has taken place yet.

Tourchelle,

Tourchelle, Palmeria

Country Capital

Population: 72,129 (Est. 2955 YA)

The largest city in Palmeria, and the birthplace of the unorthodox country. From a small church dedicated to their angelic protector Uriel, the country has expanded itself into a home for all the non-Anahitan churches (excluding Apollyon). The small church has become a grand cathedral that is the equal of any in Theon, and the city is also the site of booming trade across the Barbarian nations. The Avatars also base the main house of government in the city, the Nave of Listening.

Tower of Hope,

A large relic built in the early years after the death of Anahita, in order to contain the volatile Hope Link (see Hope Link). It used the link to keep a mile wide lump of rock floating on the water, a task that would keep it calm and safe. The actual link was placed within the tower, and required extensive knowledge of the workings of the relic to retrieve it. At all times, two faeries and two humans kept watch in the tower, which became the center point of Atlantis and a popular attraction for its inhabitants. A large park surrounded the tower, which marked the boundaries of total control for the link. Beyond that, the link was dedicated to keeping the rock afloat. (More...)
